Get to know the artist

she/her

Started tattooing as of December of 2025

I grew up in a small town in the mountains of Southern California. My husband and I loved to Bend two years ago. I have lived across the globe, from Edinburgh to Amman, but Bend holds a very special place in my heart.

  • I got my first tattoo at the ripe age of 27 while on medical leave for burnout caused by my corporate job. I asked my artist this same question just to make small talk and she told me her story. It was eerily similar to my own, but for the first time I saw a happy ending. It felt like the universe was telling me something and I chose to listen

  • I will tattoo anything and everything (excluding anything racist, homophobic or against my morals), but I particularly love sculpting, stippling, dot work and blackwork within fine line elements. I’m interested in working more with American Traditional and soft florals.

  • I have a Master’s degree in Art History. I love perusing museum collections for cool artifacts to sketch, but architecture is what draws my eye. I’ve sketched castles and tombs and churches. One of my favorite places to go for inspiration is medieval ruins in Amman, Jordan.

  • I found my love for Art History through medieval manuscripts and the Dutch masters. One of the things I love so much about art through the ages is that it lays bare the knowledge that beauty standards are ever changing and that magnificence can be found in the tiniest of places. I appreciate flaws and inconsistencies because it shows that a human made that art, and that perfection is often found through repeated imperfection.

  • I am also a writer! Before tattooing I was a journalist, and right now I’m working on my first manuscript.

  • My free time is mostly spent with my husband and my dog Moose. I love being out of doors and taking long walks to talk with the moss and thank the trees for always being so kind.

  • If I could go anywhere, I would go to Norway. Not only do I desperately want to see the Northern Lights, much of my art is currently inspired by Nordic and Celtic  themes. To see the artifacts and nature that inspired that artistic tradition would be a dream come true.
